Passion, commitment and vision have driven Daniel Overton since entering the building Industry in 2004. Coming from a family of builders, Daniel was often up at 5am in the morning hoping to tag along to job sites with his father, Philip.
Fast forward a few years, upon completion of his trade qualification as a carpenter, Daniel was fortunate enough to gain invaluable years of experience with a dedicated local building company, who invested much time in Daniel’s training and development. It was here that Daniel’s passion and drive for the building industry was cemented. In Daniel’s final year of his trade qualification as a carpenter he continued his studies at night to complete his Certificate IV in Building Studies and obtain his building license. Upon completion of his studies, Daniel (along with his trusty side kick, Indie the Labrador) formed Select Construction. His passion for the business is reflective in the growth of the company to what it is today.

My father ran his own building company so I was exposed to it from a very young age and have always loved it. It is challenging but very fulfilling, to see the excitement in clients when they move into their new home, it is fantastic to know that they are going to enjoy it for years to come,”
