Old meets new in this complete renovation and first floor addition to a traditional Inner West workers cottage. The front façade was refurbished to its original beauty with new federation window mouldings, cast iron handrails and travertine paved verandah, the traditional feel of the terrace continued through the entry hall and downstairs bedrooms with new ornate cornices, federation skirting boards and decorative archways. The rear living area was opened up into a modern open plan with streamline kitchen, modern bathroom and square set ceiling.
To cater for our clients growing family, the first floor addition houses a generous parents retreat complete with large ensuite and walk in robe.
Select grade blackbutt flooring was used throughout the entire project as well as casement windows with heritage bar features, maintaining touches of the traditional terrace in the new extension.
Select Construction together with Select Landscaping, transformed the rear courtyard, with travertine paving, merbau bench seating and Magnolia feature plants.
